Hailing from a small rural village in the North West of England, I have always been surrounded by the sounds of nature. Whilst spending my youth playing in Forests and fields, I fell in love with music after hearing the Beatles for the first time. After a brief (but failed) stint playing guitar, I decided to take up Bass Guitar, which proved a more successful venture. Taking influence from Jazz greats and the soul of Motown, I quickly became a staple of the local music scene.

Through this, I became fascinated with the production of music and sound. After spending hours recording from my home studio and producing for friends, I soon went off to study recording and studio production. With a full studio at my disposal, I could focus on producing quality audio using a variety of techniques.

During my studies I began writing computer music. Beginning with lush ambient soundscapes, and old school jungle beats, my tastes evolved into the weird and wonderful world of the Avant-garde, and in particular Found Sound techniques. Currently, I can be found constantly annoying my cats with long form noise experiments. (Matthew Selman, 2018)
